Client Rights Agreement
A customer who has entered into a service contract must pay for the service it receives. Keep in mind that a customer can request a cost estimate before the contract is signed. If you ever have questions about these rights, or how your case is handled, don`t hesitate to ask your lawyer. He or she should be readily available to defend your best interests and keep you informed of your case. As a customer, you are sitting in the driver`s seat of your own treatment plan. Our staff will help you achieve your goals and acquire the tools you need to maintain the long-term recovery. Any consumer should be free from any threat or fear of unwarranted suspension or expulsion from an establishment. The suspension/discharge of services should take place only on the recommendation of the consumer planning team and on the audit and approval of the Agency`s Clinical Director. They have the right to the freedom to unjustifiably suspend or exclude services. The suspension of services only occurs if your safety or the safety of A Caring Alternative staff cannot be guaranteed.
An alternative care will do everything in its power to correct the reasons that lead to suspension. If you or the safety of the staff is not guaranteed after two weeks, you will be excluded from the benefits. You can be readmitted for services if your safety or staff safety can be guaranteed. In a service contract in which a marketing agency agrees to find sponsors for a company, the company (the customer) may require the Agency to hire competent people and use certain advertising materials. However, the marketing agency still retains control and direction over the research methods used and the employees it employs. She also decides which potential sponsors she wants to meet. If you are a minor in a residential community, you have the following additional rights. A care alternative has a computer system for billing and statistics purposes, as well as for electronic maintenance of customer data sets. Security measures are maintained in accordance with all rules and laws of secrecy. All employees of A Caring Alternative sign statements that require them to keep all information confidential in accordance with all rules and laws. Restrictions on rights limit or deprive a person of the right to do something. A person`s rights should be limited as a last resort and only after other positive behavioural aids have been attempted and failed.
Rights cannot and should not be imposed on people without guarantees of protection of these rights. This does not mean that individual rights can never be restricted. Due process must be put in place before a person`s rights are restricted in one way or another, except in real emergencies. All restrictions on your rights must be part of your person-centered plan. The Agency`s Rights Committee client must approve all restrictions before they are used, except in emergency situations. All restrictions must be time-limited and subject to periodic review in order to be readmitted by a qualified professional. Within five (5) working days of receipt of the complaint, the Commissioner for Human Rights will try to find a solution quickly. If the problem is not resolved, the official will investigate the circumstances of the complaint, including talking to people who may have information or situation knowledge. The investigation will be completed within 15 days or less of the time the complaint is received.
